100

It seems that this is my 100 hundredth post!
I knew it was coming up and all of a sudden it is here. I was going to write a post all about blankets but it has sort of thrown me!

It nice to be back into a routine again with children off to school but crikey its cold! The snow arrived here 24 hrs too late and so the first morning back at school I had a couple of grumpy children who just wanted to play in the snow but it did make Morrisons car park look so pretty! I love to see footprints in snow and one day I might make a white whole cloth quilt of footprints through the snow. I think it would be lovely to snuggle down under a quilt of snow. I will add it to the list!

Christmas and New Year were lovely with lots of friends family and festive spirit. Had some lovely gifts and feel quite ready to start the new year. I don't really make resolutions but do try to give a focus to the year but I think that will be another post.

I made a few things over the break and one of them is the angel in the first picture. She is scraps of white and cream patched together with beads and lace. She is not quite finished yet but she does have wings which will help her to fly out to the lucky winner of this 100th post giveaway. Just leave a comment and I will draw a winner at the weekend. She looks rather yellow but I think that its just the winter light!

There's something about footprints in fresh snow that looks wonderful. Unfortunately it doesn't last long.
Sadly, living by the sea the snow always seems to miss us.
Take care

What a lovely thought. A quilt of footsteps in the snow. You have to include the little bundle of red too. That's too precious. jan

Happy 100th and a happy new year to you!
Isn't it flippin' freezing, the snow has turned to 2 inch thick ice - yikes, just watching the cars skate on it on our way to school gives me the willies!

We got a cm of snow where we live, but still very pretty.

Hi,
Love the idea of the snow quilt, although would not let my 2 boys near it! They only need to look at something and it is filthy!!
You and your blog have a mention in the Sew Hip magazine, there is a write up about the Vintage Handmade Fair! Well done!
Love
