Vintage and Handmade Fair

It was hard work but it was a great day. It is Sunday evening and its only now I have the opportunity to get on the computer and the energy to do it. Here are some pictures of some of the other fabulous stalls. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of everyone as people kept walking in front of the pictures! anyone would think that this fair was for the public when really it was just an excuse to see each others lovely things! If you follow this link you can see who was there and read other accounts of the day. If you missed it there is to be another one in the spring.

This one is mine!

It was lovely to meet the faces behind the blogs and rather like an old school reunion where you can quickly fall into conversation as you have so much in common. I could witter on about each person I spoke to but I think that would be rather dull! It was also lovely to meet new people who had read the blogs and some had travelled a long way to come and see us. It helped me to confirm some decisions I have made about my future work but I will do a blog entry about that another day. Thanks to all who came out to see us and especially to those who spent money!

It was lovely to meet you Joanna and thanks for letting me witter on. I was shattered yesterday... i find driving at night really tiring... i didn't get lost on the way home thankfully though. i really love your love tokens and new work... very pretty. Look forward to hearing about your decisions... I too felt very reflective after Saturday about how i would like to progress with my own work. Aparentely this Thursday is an auspiciuous time to make wishes for the future (read it on a blog!).
Have a good week,
love

Hello Joanna
It is lovely to hear of your positive experience of the fair.. I know how nervous you were but you really were not alone and I think we all got on so well though my only regret of the day was not having enough time to talk to all..
I do hope it was an inspirational day for everyone..
Love

Hi Joanna thank your very sweet cmments. I did enjoy the day and talking to you was so interesting.
I am going to have a go at felting to make leaves and add a little wool flower! to the centre for some corsages.
I do hope that you will be able to make the next fair, I doubt that I will have a stall but certainly want to be there to see everyone again.
