"I spy" with my little eye, a tutorial for a blanket.

This is a project I have really enjoyed doing. Its an "I spy" blanket. It starts with one of those cheap fleece blankets that you can buy. Mine came from shop called "the Works" but I have seen them in Sainsburys and Ikea. It seems to be cheaper than buying a length of fleece and means that you do not need to blanket stitch the edge.

I have appliqued shapes/silhouettes all over using a left over bit of cream fleece from an earlier project. Now when the kids need a bit of a cuddle or quiet time we can sit with this over us and play "I spy" using the shapes on the blanket. It didn't take too long and one easily done in front of the T.V. in the evenings.

I have written a tutorial here.
