Day 3 lily of the valley

so it continues,
Today I added some flowers and stalks. I am starting to like it now. On day 1 and 2 I found it hard to settle to it, not really feeling confident about it. It came to life more once I had the first flowers on and so enjoying it more. I have smudged out some of the strong lines on the leaves and I think the flowers are helping to soften it. The stitching is quite thick now so my fingers are getting a bit sore pushing the needle through. I should use a thimble but I don't.
I am finding it really useful to photograph it as it gives me chance to look at as others might.
I had better go as I (now aged 2 and half) has been a star playing by herself and it has helped that it has been sunny and she has pottered round the garden with the dog but she has now pulled out her paddling pool and is pestering me to fill the watering can.
Its warm here but not that warm!

the flowers are looking fabulous! Have you seen those stick on pads, a sort of thimble but maybe easier to sew with?

We get the paddling pool question at the slightest hint of sun as well!
