I have many runaway thoughts

I have many runaway thoughts that travel where they may
from morning, noon to duskmy thoughts are led astray.

This describes my days very well!

This poem comes from the talented Jane over here.

I woke up early on my birthday and had the first thought that it was my birthday.. yipppeee, then my second thought was that nobody else was awake.. therefore peace and then the third thought was to creep downstairs and sit quietly making something. 2 hours later when the first little people appeared I was just putting the finishing touches to this!

However mostly when I wake up early my thoughts are to turn over and go back to sleep.
