Many of you will read Janet Clares blog. I love her subtle colour palette and combination of hand and machine stitching. I met her at the Quilting festival and asked her to make me a piece of work. We discussed some ideas and she used a line I love from this album which weaves its way around some 16th century letters. One of which says " I desired to be beyond the seas"
Its a wonderful simple piece but works beautifully for me.
