I have been working on this piece for about 8 years, it's still a long way from being finished.
Mostly because I spend all week twiddling my thumbs

Good, glad it not just me.
It is my back up piece, that I pick up and sort of doodle whatever takes my fancy, whenever I don't have anything else to do.

I expect it's what you do in your copious free time - just like me. It looks very exciting. I've had a strip of embroidery on the go for more years than I care to mention and still no end in sight!
Gorgeous textures! It's always nice to have something you can keep on picking up when you have a moment.
