A swapped gift

Trying to catch up on things this week as the fair rather took over. I had a lovely parcel arrive through the post, you know one of those that comes without a credit card slip! Jackie posted a set of beautiful pin brooches a while ago and as I have long admired her work I suggested a swap. She received one of my clock face brooches and I received a jewel like pin brooch wrapped beautifully , it felt like discovering a new treasure. Its quite a different shape from those I normally wear and has been admired at the school gate already.

I still have some more of those clock face brooches left if anyone is interested in buying/swapping one.
Thanks again for all your lovely comments about the fair.
I will post more about it later in the week.

Hi Joanna, I am still trying to catch up! I have got a pile of box's from the fair still sitting on the floor in the sitting room waiting to be put away.
I love the pin. What a great swap.
I have seem so many lovely things that I would like to have a go at making. It is finding the spare time that is the only problem I have!
