The very hungry caterpillar

Remember I bought this (scroll down to see the quilt panel), well I finally put it together, I added a couple of embroidered pictures that S drew of the sun and a cocoon, cut it all up and mixed it all up, then sewed it back together, then undid the butterfly as I had it upside down and quilted it with my new machine walking foot and and eventually finished it! I guess I now need to make one of these....

That's absolutely gorgeous! I think any child (and grown up...) will fall in love with it.

What a lovely quilt! I love the way you incorporated your children's designs and your own embroidery into it. Very very nice.

The quilt is just fabulous! I think the way you used the emboidered drawings really makes it - I'm sure it will be treasured.
