I could have quite a rant about the school policy that fines you for taking children out of school during term time so this years trip was just for a week. Still very enjoyable and another flag to sew on the quilt.

My children's junior school has 2 weeks for May half term but when the eldest goes to the secondary school around the corner she'll only get one - same local authority just no flippin sense!
