Mothers day

For my mum, who showed me how to treasure even the smallest things.
This is the purse I made for my mum for mothers day. It is a treasure purse. This one has 2 pockets. It has the feel of something to be held carefully but is meant to be used.
Its late I know but it been one of those weeks.

What a lovely purse, I managed to completely ignore the fact that it was mothers day and had my mother staying with me! I remember doing that when I was a teenager and she got really angry with me, something to do with taking her for granted as I recall!

That's so pretty, I'm sure she will treasure it forever :)

What a beautiful gift, so thoughtful, I bet she was thrilled.
Thanks for the tip on the flea market, I think I'll be giving that one a go!

I think she will love it. You are very talented. Is that your own pattern. I think I will have to leave the sewing to you! Have a great day, Liz

What a lovely purse - it's one of those things you'd leave lying around, just to catch a glimpse of as you were doing other things. If you know what I mean.

So pretty - very precious treasures to be stored in here, I think.
