My chance to wonder about hand made things and tell the world about those I make, love and cherish!

Sitting quietly.

Starting to feel pulled under by January so sitting here quietly basting my quilt catching up on radio on the iplayer. Thoughts gently drifting across my mind.  I remembered all the lovely comments I have had over the last week and I wanted to say a proper THANK YOU.  For all the sewing machine luurve that is out there and for thinking that making a bag from an old sleeve is cool. Or even if you didn't then for  being polite!

I love catching up on Radio 4 programmes on the iplayer. good for keeping the braincells going. I have started to branch out into podcasts. Anyone got any suggestions?

Stocked up on bright colourful foods to lift the spirits. Its a lovely sunny day here too... that helps a lot.

That peanut brittle (that is what's in the jar, right?) looks so good!
Enjoy your stitching and listening to music.

I, too, am loving BBC 4, listening while hands are busy. Have not tried podcasts yet.

Thanks for your visit and kind words. Now I discovered your world - what a nice place. Of course I envy you the machine and the bags are just super (I love both - the idea and the making)!

Look forward to seeing you quilt! If you find any good podcasts do pass them on! I have tried the womens hour podc when I have missed something, but I only subscribe to London walks, not so useful out of town! I do love audible, downloadable books.

Just listening to Julian Barnes' Book at Bedtime on iplayer while I catch up on some blog-reading. Haven't done podcasts yet ..... but love all the plays, stories and Archers Omnibus of course!

I think the best podcast is at craftypod.com. It has gotten me through a lot of long car rides.
